A true Kiwi DNB OE experence.
Endeavour Live is proud to present a new drum and bass overseas experience. Introducing BREAKOUT LONDON, a special showcase featuring LEE MVTTHEWS, ELIPSA and AZIFM at London’s iconic KOKO on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2023.
LEE MVTTHEWS aka Graham Matthews and Tom Lee met in 2012 and started working together after discovering they had a nearly identical taste in music, eventuating in Lee Mvtthews in late 2013. Since then, they’ve gone from strength-to-strength, gaining a reputation for turning out infectious tunes that pair colourful melodies with bass-driven drops. From their double platinum hit, 'Takeover Ft. NÜ', through to heavy hitter collabs with Shock One, Grafix and more, the Kiwi duo have consistently garnered plays from industry greats such as Andy C, Sub Focus, Pendulum, Netsky, Metrik, Grafix, Koven, Kanine, Kanine, DC Breaks, and Hybrid Minds. Growing exponentially and with more new music ready to go for 2023, it seems nothing can stop these two as they hold their spot as one of the hottest New Zealand drum & bass exports.
The name on everyone’s lips this year? ELIPSA. After finishing 2022 with the release of her debut EP ‘Divine’ on the illustrious UKF, she's proven she's not here to mess about. Her honest lyrics and angelic voice cut through the masses, to provide the scene with something totally unique. Starting out in 2020 as a feature vocalist, she has now worked with the likes of Grafix, Kanine, Lee Mvtthews, Enei, Annix & Mollie Collins. This star-studded collaboration catalogue in combo with her captivating stage presence has landed her bookings at New Zealand’s biggest festivals such as Rhythm & Vines. She now tours her 1 woman DJ/live vocal set regularly around NZ, connecting with fans and ravers who relish in her positivity, cheekiness and overall great vibes. In 2023 she kicks off her mission for world domination. Having already headlined her first festival over in Perth, Australia, and with Europe on the horizon, ELIPSA has proved herself as a force to be reckoned with.
Combine breakbeats with new school synths, old school production methods and a disregard for the mainstream path most travelled, you get AZIFM - pure unadulterated, no bullshit Drum & Bass. Freshly off the plane from the Garden City of Christchurch and starting his career in the UK, Azi shows no sign of slowing down, becoming the first external artist to sign with Workforce’s Must Make Music label. Coming in with a bang in 2023, Azi releases a 6 track EP on Must Make Music with his widest pallet of music yet. With a strong discography behind him at such a young age and more music to come, AZIFM is the future, past & present.
